First Annual “Path to Success” Video Promotion
What job do you dream about? A news reporter, a veterinarian, a teacher, a chef, a CSI, or something else? What path are you taking to make your dream job happen? Make a video about it and you could be featured on Delaware’s Yes YOU Can! website and on YouTube!
The Delaware Department of Education is sponsoring the first annual “Path to Success” video promotion for Delaware public high school and middle school students. It’s easy and fun! Videos will be posted online and promoted to Delaware’s local newspapers.
Rules:
- Create a 2-3 minute video that describes your path to success. Include your friends or just go it alone. Be creative and have fun.
- To enter, go to youtube.com/group/yesYOUcanDE, click on “Submit Video” to upload your video. Remember to include the video title in the description box of your video. Then send your name, address, phone number to: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) - Use the video title as the subject line. (Please read copyright document before submitting.)
- Start date: December 7, 2009 (12 am). End date: January 31, 2010 (12 pm).
- Limited to one entry per student or group.
- Promotion open to current Delaware public middle and high school students only. If you are under 18 years of age you must have your parent or guardian submit this student permission form. (Video will not be posted until this form is received.)
- If you are showing anyone other than yourself in the video, participants will need to submit this third-party permission form. (If participants are under 18 years of age then they must also have their parent or guardian submit the student permission form.)
What are we looking for?
- Creativity. Uniqueness. Enthusiasm. Outside the box.
- Use your imagination – the sky’s the limit!
What aren’t we looking for?
- No profanity, nudity, violence or vulgarity. Only submit videos that you’d show your grandmother!
